Book Launch Day

Book Launch Day  My door bell rang last Friday and it was the delivery man with many boxes of books.  I had not expected it to arrive and actually had never received a tracking number.   At first, I asked my wife did she order some wine as the boxes appeared to be a six pack. As soon as I realised that it was my new book - that was a very proud moment.  To then open the box and see the words that you had written all perfectly formed onto that format.  Of Course as the Author you start to read and expect to find a mistake or a phrase that you don't like. I'm sure that that will come, but for now it is a sense of milestone. An achievement but actually just the beginning of a new stage of my career.  The pride soon was forgotten but there was a natural glow for many hours to come.
